So, are you flying to Kiev? We thought you may have questions regarding the documents to submit at the border check-point, and have decided to help you. Before buying the ticket to Kiev, the following documents must be submitted at the border check-point:
• Your Covid-Passport (you are right – no apostil is needed!)
• A negative PCR Covid-19 test result for the past 72 hours.
• An insurance policy issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine or by a foreign insurance company with a representation in Ukraine or contractual relations with a partner insurance company in Ukraine that covers Covid-19 treatment and observation costs and is valid during your stay in Ukraine. Wow! This long clause is confusing even for us, but it must mean that before the departure, you are obliged to have an insurance policy.
If you are not vaccinated, you have to submit a negative PCR or Antigen test result for the past 72 hours and will have to undergo a 14-day-long quarantine in Kiev. Before boarding on plane, download вдома app that controls the tourists in isolation/quarantine.
I wish you a good flight! You may find the answers to other questions on the web-site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia at www.geoconsul.gov.ge
