If you are traveling to Vienna, perhaps you know that there is Lockdown in Austria. The lockdown is for people, who are not vaccinated and have not had Covid-19 virus.

However, you may still travel to Vienna as a tourist. As a tourist, do not forget to submit the following documents at the border check-point:

• A certificate issued by a healthcare professional within 108 days from your Covid-19 recovery,

or

• A Covid-Pass, or a vaccination certificate.

If you did not receive the third vaccine (booster) dose, you have to submit a negative PCR Covid-19 test result for the past 72 hours at the border check-point (this clause applies to you even if you had Covid-19 in the past).

Also, be aware that if you did not had your booster shot, had Covid-19 in the past, but are not going to submit a negative PCR Covid-19 test result, before the departure you have to complete your application at https://entry.ptc.gv.at. However, in such a case, be aware that you will undergo a mandatory quarantine. You will be released from your quarantine after 5 days provided your PCR test result is negative.
